| Between May July. Clutch of 3 to 9 eggs. Incubation appx 30 days. Eggs tended by female only, female tending chicks in the fist 3 weeks, both parents feeding until fledged. | |||||

| Other information | |||||
|
The Snowy Owl successful breed in the Shetlands Isles in the late 60's - early 70's. Sightings of the Snowy Owl in GB are sadly very rare indeed. Normally breeding grounds are North America, Northern Russia and Scandanavia. |
